The OB/GYN physicians at A Place for Women believe that knowledge is empowering—and nothing empowers a patient more than having access to the latest obstetric and gynecologic information and care. We continually review medical journals and specialty courses and remain active members in national OB/GYN associations in order to provide the highest quality women’s care possible and enhance a complete understanding of both the physical and emotional issues affecting today’s women. Armed with up to date management and state-of-the-art therapy and surgical options, Dr. Langenstroer and Dr. Valverde provide patients with current information that enables them to understand their gynecological condition and select between therapy and procedure options. The medical team at A Place for Women provides comprehensive coverage of the full array of women’s health issues.
It is the firm belief of the entire medical team to provide a pampered pregnancy and promise gentle gynecology. Thus, we constantly seek ways to proactively learn in order to properly educate all our patients. We teach women’s health classes, write articles, attend relevant women’s health seminars and maintain prominent positions in respected medical organizations—all to keep our fingers on the pulse of obstetric, gynecologic and women’s health news.
A Place for Women recently attended the Gaylord Palms Employee Health Fair on Thursday, October 30th from 9 am to 4 pm. This annual event attracts over 1000 Gaylord Palm Employees, 75 vendors and is one of the health and wellness events that employees look forward to yearly.
