At A Place for Women, we want to make all our patients feel comfortable and have a complete understanding of their obstetrics, gynecologic and well-woman care, conditions, therapies and surgical options.  The medical team also wants to ensure that all OB/GYN patients have access to the A Place for Women policies. Appointments can be made by calling A Place for Women directly at 321.939.3553 during regular practice hours. Alternatively, you can fill out the Request an Appointment form on this website. Please bring your current insurance card, referral form if required, a list of any medications (over the counter or prescription) currently taking or refills needed and a list of any questions you may have. Billing and Financial Policy

If you have insurance, A Place for Women will file the claim and bill your provider. However, patients are responsible for any required co-payments or outstanding balances. Payments are expected at the time of visit. We accept cash, check (with proper identification) and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard).

Cancellation Policy

Please call the office 24 hours in advance to cancel appointments, failure to do so could inconvenience A Place for Women medical team and our other patients, therefore delaying our ability to deliver our special quality of care.

Emergencies and Labor

If you feel like you are in labor outside of regular office hours, we ask that you contact our answering service at 321.939.3553 or go directly to The Baby Place at Celebration Health. The physician on call will contact you within 15 minutes of your call. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or go directly to Celebration Health Florida Hospital.

Lab and Test Results

For the most part, lab and test results will be discussed at A Place for Women follow-up appointment. Upon completion of the specific test, further instructions will be given as to how and when the results will be made available.

Late Policy

If you are going to be more than 10 minutes late for A Place for Women appointment, we request that you call our office. If the schedule allows, the appointment time will simply be shifted to accommodate the delay. However, if the tardiness can’t be handled, we may request you reschedule your appointment. We work diligently to stay on schedule and suggest that you arrive 20 to 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for any necessary paperwork.

Physician and Specialist Referrals

The medical team at A Place for Women is happy to complete referrals if insurance requires. Referrals can be handled in a variety of ways. Patients can print out the referral form, complete all the required information and then either fax, mail or drop off at our office. Please allow at least three (3) business days for completion of a referral.


Calls for prescriptions received in this office after 12:30 pm will be addressed the following day after 2:00 pm. Please try to call A Place for Women at least 48 hours in advance for all medications. Calls received after 12:00 pm Friday will be returned after 2:00 pm on the following Monday.

Records Release

Please complete the records release form (Health Information Disclosure Form) to obtain your medical records from your previous family physician. OB/GYN and any specialists you may be consulting. Our Practice Privacy Policy is available at the office for your review.
